City in the middle of Slovakia

This building was built as the Memorial of Slovak National Uprising.

There are many historical buildings. But because we are on the end of our trip and this was the last stop, so we were completely exhausted...

So we only visited a few places. But one of them was the SNP Museum.

Here is how the whole building looks like.

In the middle of this complex, there is a tomb of Unknown Soldier with an ever-burning light.

There is also an open-air museum of military technology, so if you want to see some heavy machines ..

Čierny obelisk

The black one was made to honor the soldiers from Red and Romanian army.

Mariánsky stĺp

The other one is a plaque column, it was built with gratitude of stoping plague epidemic in 1719.

This city really is interesting, so if you like war history you should come and see it. :)
